Dr. Akis Karamatsoukis finished the residency of Plastic Surgery at Thriasio – Latseio Hospital in 2012.
From 2013 to 2014 he was a Senior Clinical Fellow in Lister Hospital (Earth & North Herdfordside) in the National Health System of Great Britain NHS. At the same time, in 2012, he started his doctoral dissertation at the Medical School of Athens with a scholarship from the research and experimental center ELPEN.
In 2019 he was awarded the title of Doctor of the Medical School of the University of Athens with the degree “Excellent”. In 2019, a collaboration with the University of Thessaly began at the grade of Lecturer. He has attended numerous international conferences and has published in foreign language journals.
He has participated in many reconstructive and cosmetic surgeries and maintains two medical practices in Athens and Lamia.
He is a member of the Medical Association of Athens, Lamia, the British Medical Association (G.M.C) and the Hellenic Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
